ADAS is a leading agricultural research consultancy, and recently contributed technical input to the UK Gallagher review of the indirect effects of biofuels. Dr Weightman has carried out strategic consultancy on Jatropha curcas and has co-authored reports on wheat as a feedstock for bioethanol, and the opportunities and implications of using the co-products from biofuel production as feeds for livestock for the UK industry. Previously he worked for DuPont in the UK working on wheat quality and also carried out postdoctoral research at INRA Nantes in France.
